The Shed

Lord, forgive me for clinging to things which do not honor you.

I know I am stubborn. I know I am selfish. Lord, let the Holy Spirit guide me. Let me clearly see which of my actions and beliefs are not pleasing to you.

I desire to only serve you. Let this life be lived for your sake, not mine.

Let me shed the passions and ignorance of my former self. Praise! For I have been made new in you, Christ when you shed your own blood on the cross.

Thank you for your mercy. Thank you for speaking to me boldly and bluntly through your Living Word. Thank you for helping me grow.
