The Patience

God, thank you for your patience.

Like Nicodemus, my questions seemed never ending. I clung to the fog, scared what the light might show me.

Like Thomas, I demanded the proof. Ignorance turned to arrogance, doubt turned to denial.

But time is at your mercy. Patiently you watched and loved me from the arm’s length I held out.

Graciously you listened to my tantrums and sorrows. And you met me where I was.

You showed me who you are. Creator, Savior, Redeemer, Shepherd, Lord of Hosts.

Bowing my head, I lifted my hands. In your glory I knew who I am. Unworthy, yet loved. Unworthy, yet saved. Unworthy, yet adopted, this child of God.

Your grace is sufficient. Amen.

  1. The things we go through in life we question God about it. Thinking what happen to Grace. In those moments of doubts God always says my Grace is Sufficient for you. At that moment it does not feel like it, and that is okay. For we walk by faith and not by sight.
    Have a bless Friday.
